Andrew F. Sears joined the Casper Office of Murane & Bostwick, LLC in 2011, becoming a partner in 2016. He primarily concentrates in the areas of personal injury defense, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense.

Experience:

Mr. Sears grew up in Midwest, WY, a small oilfield community approximately 45 miles north of Casper. He worked in the oilfield, saddle broke horses, and was a construction laborer through undergraduate school, until devoting his full attention to law school at the age of 23.

Following his graduation from the University of Wyoming College of Law, and prior to joining Murane & Bostwick, Mr. Sears served two years as law clerk for the First Judicial District Court in Cheyenne, WY. His primary responsibilities included preparation of written decisions for the Judges’ consideration, management of the Court’s probate docket, and providing assistance in civil and felony jury trials. Since joining Murane & Bostwick, Mr. Sears has served as both lead and co-counsel representing defendants in wide variety of cases including automobile accidents, premise liability claims, medical malpractice claims, personal injury claims involving recreational activities, and insurance bad faith. Mr. Sears has also represented employers and employees in workers’ compensation cases. He has handled numerous appeals to the Wyoming Supreme Court.

Mr. Sears and his wife, Alyson, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing with his wife and children as well as working on his family’s horse and cattle hobby ranch near Linch, WY.
